
Who we are
Welcome to Bebo Rae’s Social Kitchen, a food truck operated by father/son team, Mike and Bebo, where you’ll find the guys serving up a collection of Tex-Mex BBQ plates perfected over decades of cooking for all of our loved ones. If you know Mike, you know this dream has been simmering for a long time. We are beyond excited to get cooking and meet you over a plate of smoked and grilled deliciousness!
So… what’s in the name?
We’re calling it Bebo Rae’s, named after our middle son, the one and only Bebo Rae. For years, Mike and Bebo have been side by side at the smoker and grill, experimenting, tasting, and talking about food. Naming the truck after him is our way of honoring the heart behind this whole thing: family. The food we’ll be serving is the same food Mike’s been cooking with his family for years. It’s generational cooking, packed with love.
And while Bebo’s name is on the truck, this is a business built with our whole family in mind. Each of our children - Gabriel, Bebo and Chloe - have shaped this journey in their own way, and we’re proud to carry that spirit forward in every plate we serve.
What’s Tex-Mex BBQ to us?
It’s flame-kissed meats, smoky and charred, tucked into tacos or served on skewers. It’s bold, fresh flavors: lime, cilantro, heat, and heart. It’s crispy cantina chips and queso, with sauces that steal the show. Think a rich, savory BBQ sauce drizzled next to a bright jalapeño-lime crema. This is food ignited by ancestral flame, born from generations who cooked over open fire, now carried forward with the bold flavors of Tex-Mex and the signature depth of Texas barbecue.
